This new extentTour Operator will be able to deal with approximately up to 70 people monthly( 20 at start). It will allow tourists to access southern Tanzania, still nearly untapped. The tour operating system will be entirely computerised and installed in news offices which will be entirely refurbished .The tour operator will be operating all the year long. The itinerary alone will be modified by the management during the rainy season.

Turnover and profits expected:

The turnover should be around US$200,000.00, the first year, and reach approximately US$500,000.00 the second year. It should then stabilise not so far 1 million dollars per year. Net profit expected after deduction of different taxes  should reach US$70,000.00 the first year and more than US$250,000.00 in the following years.

Starting Financial Need:

Its financial need should be about US$200,000.00, ( Ask  attached document: financial procedure if available)

Risks:

Land risk:Taking into account the place and that the main enterprise is based in Tanzania, usual risks are decreased to half, as for the country. Project would be registred to TIC Tanzania and get MIGA guarantee for land risk.

Client risk: Moreover local official directives warmly recommend that foreigners have at least a local native partner with them, which will be the case of our project, since, as for ownership and management, some people are European     and one is an already well know and reliable local entrepreneur...

Investor risk:The main actors of the projects are very passionate by the success of the affair. Shares returning to investors will be appropriated directly to the source (Europe,USA...), and paid on a global account in Europe. The division will be executed all 3 month or at earliset convenience of investors.

Trade mark and structure of the business:

The expend IKU Tour, Mbeya Project ,will be a NEW COMPANY trade mark SECURISED by N'dingo Enterprises, Ltd, Mbeya, Tanzania. The name of company will be  "IKU TOUR MBEYA""MCN TOUR MBEYA"( We need to deposit 3 different name)

The Tanzania Investment center ,where we will registred company, propose different form.( ask attached document TIC) The first idea will be: N'DINGO ENTERPRISES 51% -- PARTNERS 49%

The articles of memorandum of the company and the contract between IKU and partners will be executif in case of dilemma.

Owner(s), shareholders/board of directors, associates:

Investors shall be the owners of the Tour Operator until its repurchase. The bank account in Tanzania will be under the name of IKU TOUR, Mbeya. Other count in Europe will be open with investors and main actors. The investment will be for 5 years. The income will be payed each 3 month to each investor at earliest convenience. The starting date of investment calculation will be the first visitor. All expansion of the project will be new calculation and separated to the initial project step 1 and 2.

For investor: We propose for 1$ invest= 0,0016$ each visitor. For instance(10,000$ X 0,0016 X visitors (20) =320$ monthly.

In case of loan we require three months free at beginning.Conditions will be decided by the lender.

In any case Lender will received secure share of the amount after we have been registred company( 2 week after)Authorized Repurchase of share will be deciced by the lender during 5 years.

Project history:

The project originated in October 1994 during the meetings of the Tanzanian K. A. N'DINGO and the Swiss/French R. and J. CHILLIER in Mbeya, southern Tanzania (SADC, Africa). From then on the idea of collaborating has followed its pathway and the project leaders have met regularly with one another. The idea of promoting southern Tanzania and the relevant study of feasibleness (transportation, farming, etc.) thus actually took place.
In April 1999, we opened the related internet site http://www.twiga.ch, in order to start our promotion. The statistics of visitors is interesting. The information is relevant to the targeted regions.  In February, 2002, during a new meeting of the project leaders, it's been decided that it was high time to start the Tour Operator project...In 2003 a new strategy has been decided with an expansion of IKU Tours and Safaris.

Further recruitment planning:

As for other collaborators we've already planned, we will look for them at due time. We will need for sure at least: a person for the office of Mbeya (permanent), a person for the office of Dar Es Salaam (permanent). Two other drivers (Mbeya). We will look for other personnel later on, as the project evolves

Services:
Mbeya IKU Tour will take charge of tourists individually from their arrival in Dar Es Salaam Int. Airport and this until
their departure. All tourists of IKU Tour will lodge at one of several Beach Hotel, Dar Es Salaam or Zanzibar upon their the arrival
and departure from Tanzania. They will be assisted as they will like best and all the time during their stay. Usually
they will be transferred to Mbeya, in the south, during the 2 day after  following their arrival. Instead the return from the
south will take place with a margin of at least 1 day in advance or more, according to the wish for spending some
days at the sea side resort... Assistance includes vehicles, guide, driver, and various services facilitating the trip,
information...

Tourists will decide their itinerary according to a list of choice. They won't be mixed with other groups, if they ask of course.

Further developments: (Ask forgeneral tourism project by email)

Within the framework of Mbeya IKU TOUR, the project to build a motel in Igurusi has often attracted our attention. It would
serve as a basis for all our future clients. It would be also interesting for all travellers who travel from Malawi and Zambia to Dar
Es Salaam, because it would be located half way, and also due to the fact that it wouldn't touch Mbeya. This motel
would be built on an available ground of  260 hectares, belonging to Mr N'dingo. The place hangs over the
region,
at the foot of a mountainous chain.

The local market:

A local market and one in surrounding regions and countries already exist. Many travellers coming from Malawi and Zambia stop in Mbeya. We meet them at the foreign currency exchange office (N'dingo's Bureau de Change) or while asking Nicholas (N'tinda) - the Guide of "Sisi Kwa Sisi" - for information. In addition, tourists from other regions of Tanzania itself come and visit this region and ask about and use our services. There are also globetrotters coming from everywhere that come and ask for either information or our services.

Outer markets:

There aren't established "external" market yet, and that's why Mbeya Iku TOUR would be an innovation too for the region of Mbeya. The targets will be the USA and Canada, as well as the EU (markedly Germany, France, UK and Italy), and possibly Japan too, reached mostly through both the Internet and associated travel agencies and at last, but not least by hearing...

Marketing:

Advertising will be made through the publication of a brochure to be distributed to travel agencies and circulated on printed media. Moreover the "www.twiga.ch" site, created, webmastered and constantly updated by René Chillier, twiga@twiga.ch - simama@bluewin.ch and his collaborators (collaborators' list to appear soon by country), will be our medium number one. The sale of our services will be made at first by travel agencies, then through e-commerce features that will be added to the website too. Unfortunately airline   ticket reservations will not be included in our services for the time being, and it will be up to travellers to get them. If one or more air companies are interested in our tour operating business, we will then provide our users with the best and most comfortable flight possibilities too. We are in contact with an Arabic air company.......Favorite and better price airline company are British airways and KLM airways from Europe and the new SWISS airways company.

Competition:

As for the Tanzanian market(s), there is big competition nearly in the north-eastearn area only (Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, Zanzibar), but as for southern Tanzania, there isnt't practically any one, at present.

Project fulfill gaps that prevents a good development of the tourism in the region. There is no capable tourism infrastructure to rival with existent proposals by the north of Tanzania or Kenya. . Our project would want to be effective by the mobility and communications and also by the high quality adapted to the tourism in Tanzania.

Advantages:

The southern region is more diversified if compared to northern zones. The local fauna is as interesting as that of the north, if not even more enticing (Katawi). The good reputation of N'DINGO is a guarantee of reliability for visitors. Visitors have also other choices available, as: excursions, fishing, biking, visiting local people, getting in touch with people in charge of agricultural and nutritional projects, local exhibitions and shows and much other

Localization:

Mbeya Iku Tour will be localized in Tanzania. The branch   office will be in Mbeya, in a new offices opposite N' Dingo Enterprises Ltd, in Lupa Way street in the center of the city. The Main branch office is situated in Dar Es Salaam .

The management will be computerised assisted and mobile too and it will be possible to carry it on wherever in the world....

Installation :

The offices reserved for Mbeya TOUR project will be entirely renewed and arranged according to future needs. Each office will be computerized and will include a waiting room with either conditioned or just fresh air available for tourists. These offices will offer also public telephone lines, fax, and email and internet service.
A park of vehicles will be created and enlarged according to needs. It will be also possible for people to
rent vehicles with driver, whenever available.
This park will include 7 vehicles at the beginning, which will be increased gradually, according to the need.

Capacity:

The capacity of the Tour Operator will begin with dealing 10/20 travellers per month, to be raised to approximately 50/70 tourists per month.

Marketing means:

Our e-commerce enabled website will be one of the main marketing means and the partnering agencies will constitute the other one. Moreover the offices of Dar Es Salaam, and Mbeya will be able to provide clients by local advertisements. These tourists will be taken care by those same offices. Each hotel we promote on internet ,will be inform about ourTour.
