MLOWO FALLS : These falls are located 33 kilometers from the Mbeya Municipality and one and half kilometers past the TAZAMA pipeline pumping station.In this respect river Mlowo Falls off the basalt lava in spectacular cascade 15 metres high onto a hardened volcanic ash.

LOWER CAMP: A lower camp is located about two kilometers off Isongole village and in this place cat-fishing,tilapia and other fresh water fish are plenty.Furthermore,there are fascinating walks to Isam Crater,Ndwati Crater,the latter being a birds'paradise.

UTENGULE WALLED VILLAGE: The Walled Village is located about 12 kilometers from the Mbeya Municipalitytowards tunduma.History has it that at the end of the 18th century when the Wahehe tribe was expanding,chief Marere of Usangu who had been driven out of the Usangu plains to the east of Mbeya,expelled the local people and then built a defensive stone-walled village.
Mbeya région is within the southern higlands of Tanzania with an altitude ranging from 800 meters through 2500 meters above sea level.The East African Rift Valley passes through the region.The region is divided into three geographical zones namely:

Temperatures range among -6 degree centigrade in the highland and 29 degree centigrade in the lowland areas. The region enjoys abundant and reliable rainfall.The rain starts in end of October through to May with dry spell between June and November.
